Lacerta

Turn Incendiary Shot's ranged pressure into healing and Barriers, or follow the separate Attack Damage and critical-hit alternative. Check alternate-Memory access first.

Mist

Choose Lunge for focused bursts or unlocked Flèche for mobile clearing, then learn attack resets, Parry timing, and boss openings.

Bismuth

Complete the movement-speed unlock and build Pure Soul with Flow. Separate her automatic basic attacks from the later Self-Writing Story Memory automation.

Nachia

Follow the unlock order from Sylvan Call toward Moonlight Pact, Nature's Whisper, and Pact of Destiny's healing connection while keeping summons active.

Vesper

Check Discipline and El's Mercy prerequisites, then build a manual melee attack-reset loop with sustain and defensive support.

Shape of Dreams is a top-down action roguelite from developer Lizard Smoothie and publisher NEOWIZ. Fight through changing worlds, dodge incoming attacks, and adapt your skills and upgrades as each run develops. Play solo or join online co-op with up to four players total.

How many characters are there?

How long does a run take?

Allow roughly 40–60 minutes for an ordinary co-op clear without looping; learning and discussing upgrades can extend it, early defeat can shorten it, and repeated loops can last hours. This is a planning range rather than a universal solo average or the time to complete all progression, and solo play supports pausing and suspending an attempt to continue later. What are Memories, Essences, and Stars?

Memories are equipped skills, Essences modify the Memory they are attached to, and Stars provide pre-run constellation benefits. Before attaching an Essence, check whether it needs a cast, hit, kill, or particular damage type to work. Where do you redeem Shape of Dreams codes?

Open Extras → Redeem Gift Code in the game. These are in-game gifts, not Steam product keys. The codes page gives the announced reward, claim deadline, and redemption steps.

Does the Altar of Transcendence keep the same skill?

No. It can replace a selected Memory or Essence with a random different item, normally at a higher rarity, so protect an effect your build depends on. A rarer result is not automatically more useful; the Altar guide explains the selection checks, upgrade carry-over limits, and maximum-rarity caveat.
